Summary: The cabin was beautiful and very clean, Jim was amazing, he greeted us and made us feel very welcomed and comfortable. The place and town was very peaceful, we are planning to go back for my birthday in a couple of months,however we loved the scenery and surroundings so much that we fully intend to purchase land and make it our new home.Thank you so much again Jim and Effie for sharing your amazing place with others,which allowed us to have such a beautiful experience. Summary: Loved our stay at the quiet cabin! We live in a bustling city and wanted to some peace and quiet and boy did we receive that! The property is beautiful, clean and great outdoorsy space. We made fires each night, grilled our food, and enjoyed the outdoor lights. We were equally grateful for the fan outside in the gazebo since May got quite warm during the day. We would be thrilled to come back and stay again.

Summary: This was our 2nd time booking the Quiet Cabin in less than a year. Both Jim and Effie are just awesome people! We love staying at this location. Very private and most of all quiet! My dog loves the place too!! Will be staying again!!

Summary: Wanted to get away from civilization for a bit with my dog, and this was the perfect spot. Everything i could have needed was provided, plenty of firewood and fire starter, the property is incredible with lots of room to roam. My dog loved the trails and open land. I want to come back as soon as I can!

Summary: Quiet, recharge the soul! Jim was a great guy, had lots of great life stories as well as being a kind and courteous host. Cabin was so relaxing and walking the huge property was refreshing. We are already rebooking for summertime.

Summary: We’re both software engineers who live in a big city and are plugged in day and night. We needed a close by getaway that would feel private and have a fire feature. The fire pit was perfect and the binoculars were already set up for birdwatching from the porch! The bed is a comfy pullout and the cabin is very fully featured for a two-room tiny home. Be aware that you might not have cell signal, download directions to your phone before you start. Strong WiFi means you’re not totally cut off from the outside world.

Summary: Jim Was very nice & accommodating, with everything from the things you need to know to even having things you wouldn't expect, such as coffee,tea, fresh eggs, popcorn, ice cream & muffins. It was a nice clean & cozy, reasonable & private place to stay, but it's still close to the shore. I would definitely recommend it.

Summary: This is definitely a Quiet Place. The host were just great!! Jim greeted us at check in and showed us around the property. Both Jim and Effie came around to check on us. The level of hospitality is beyond a rating of 10!! We are looking forward to coming back again.
